Need Odor Removal?

Unwanted odors can linger long after the source of the problem is gone, affecting the comfort and cleanliness of your home or business. SERVPRO of Downtown Austin provides professional odor identification and removal services to address persistent smells caused by smoke, fire, water damage, mold, pets, and other sources.

Our team uses specialized equipment and proven deodorization techniques to target odor-causing particles at their source rather than simply masking the smell. Whether you’re dealing with a lingering odor after a disaster or an ongoing issue within your property, SERVPRO of Downtown Austin has the training and resources to help restore a fresher, cleaner environment.

SERVPRO’s 4-Step Odor Removal Process

Remove the Odor Source

Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.

Clean Residues From Surfaces

After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.

Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration

We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

Seal Surfaces Exposed To Unpleasant Odors

Severe situations may require sealing if odor removal would be insufficient.

Commercial Odor Removal Services

Removing persistent smells from your commercial property—office, warehouse, hospital, apartments, and more—can be quite a challenge. Unpleasant smells can drive customers away and make things difficult for employees. Getting rid of the odor, completely and quickly, can avoid interruption of your normal operations.

Our uniquely trained professionals will work with you to get your company smelling fresh and back to business as quickly as possible, keeping downtime and lost revenue to a minimum.

Our Story

SERVPRO Team Friermuth began in 1992, when Doug Friermuth opened the doors of his very first SERVPRO franchise out of a garage on South Hill in Puyallup, WA. With just one truck and a one-man crew, Doug built his business on hard work, trust, and a commitment to helping his community through life’s toughest moments.

In 2014, Team Friermuth established headquarters in Puyallup, WA, and has been growing ever since! Today, under the leadership of Doug’s son, Kevin Friermuth, we are proud to be a second-generation SERVPRO team with 13 franchise licenses across Washington and Texas. While we’ve grown, our values remain the same: serve our communities with professionalism, compassion, and teamwork.
