About Us
At SERVPRO of Southwest Wichita, we understand how stressful and disruptive fire, water, mold, or storm damage can be to your home or business. That’s why our team is committed to minimizing interruption and restoring your property quickly, making it feel “Like it never even happened.”
Our story began in 2001 when Patrick Butler and his business partner, Craig McIlvaine, opened their first SERVPRO franchise in Wichita. After a successful career in the aircraft industry and later owning a handyman business, Patrick combined his technical background and construction knowledge to build a restoration company focused on helping people recover after disaster.
As the company grew, SERVPRO of Southwest Wichita was established as a second franchise to better serve the community—expanding the same trusted service, values, and commitment that built the original location.
Today, SERVPRO of Northeast Wichita and SERVPRO of Southwest Wichita remain family-owned and operated, with Patrick working alongside his sons, Michael and Sean. What started as a small basement operation has grown into a full-service restoration company with an office, warehouse, and workshop ready to handle jobs of any size.

Liz and the entire clean up crew were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and very efficient. They cleared out all the rain water soaked carpet and padding, checked for any signs of mold, and dried out and dehumidified the space affected by the rain storm. I have nothing but great things to say about this company! I called Servpro of Southwest Wichita out to my home because I had water leak in through my foundation. They responded within an hour of my phone call which was amazing because I expected it to take a day or two for them to even come out. Carson, the Production Manager arrived right on time and he brought two young men with him Grant and Cameron. Carson explained everything very clearly to me and told me he could save my failrly new carpet and my walls. Right away the guys went to work and extracted all the carpet, pulled out the wet pad, pulled the baseboards, sprayed a sanitizer, and set equipment to dry my carpet and walls. In four hours these 3 guys had everything under control and did exactly what they said they would. They were professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. My home was dried out in 3 days. Servpro coordinated with their carpet layer to put back our carpet pad and relay the carpet. Then Grant and Cameron came back and cleaned all the carpet. This was a great experience!

We used ServPro for restoration following a water leak in a basement bedroom. They responded immediately and began the process of removing damaged items and drying out the area. We then worked with Tim Carr to begin the reconstruction to get the room back to its normal state. He was friendly, efficient, and very professional. He went beyond what was needed to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction. We were very happy with the quality of work ServPro provided.
