Water Damage Restoration and Cleanup in Southwest Las Vegas

Water damage does not wait, and neither does SERVPRO of Southwest Las Vegas. Burst pipes, roof leaks, appliance failures, and flooding can compromise your property fast, and the damage compounds by the hour. Our team responds 24/7 with commercial-grade extraction equipment, industrial drying systems, and IICRC-certified technicians ready to work.

How Our Water Damage Restoration Process Works

Every job starts with a detailed inspection using moisture meters and infrared cameras to locate water hiding behind walls, under flooring, and inside building materials. From there, we extract standing water, dry all affected areas, and apply dehumidification and antimicrobial treatment to stop mold before it starts. Every step follows industry-standard protocols from initial assessment through final drying.

What Happens If Water Damage Goes Untreated in Las Vegas?

Even in a dry climate, water trapped inside a structure causes serious problems. Warping, structural deterioration, and mold growth can develop within 24 to 48 hours of water intrusion. Professional detection and drying are essential because moisture that is not fully eliminated continues to damage your property long after the visible water is gone.

Residential and Commercial Water Damage Cleanup in Southwest Las Vegas

Whether the loss is in a single room or across an entire commercial property, SERVPRO of Southwest Las Vegas builds a restoration plan around your specific situation and works directly with your insurance provider to keep the process moving.

The guys were very professional and timely. I’d definitely recommend them. We had our water line leaking behind the fridge for some time. Once we reported it to our insurance, they got SERVPRO involved. They came out right away. Explained the work that needs to be done and worked with our insurance through the process. Can’t say enough about the professionalism of the team. They were quick and everything looked dialed in from the second they walked in.

I would like to thank Servpro Southwest for their professionalism and their willingness to help me navigate this process. Starting with Kade Schank the account specialist. He was on time and very thorough with his assessment of our situation and how to navigate that process to a complete and accurate outcome. The crew that did the demolition was David and his son. Hard working is an understatement!! They were on time as well asked a few questions and they were off and running. The demolition and cleanup went smoothly and stress free. In the end the documents provided before, during and after completion were incredibly thorough and on point!! Thanks again Servpro Southwest for your support and assistance. Keep up the great work!! I will recommend you in the future to friends and family if the need ever presents itself.

We're very happy and very satisfied for a job well done. Thanks

Updated Review: it’s September 29th. I drilled into the wall to put up a picture frame and guess what, I hit a 80 PSI sprinkler system in my house! 20 minutes of non stop 6 gallons a minute water can rush out of the pipe and onto my floors. How unlucky of me, 2 water incidents within 2 months! Guess what! I called and asked for Andreas again, he came out first thing in the morning again to assess the damage and work started that afternoon. Since I had recent experience with the company, it was like seeing old friends and not in the best situation of course! Servpro does it again with amazing quality work, attention to detail and the utmost care of your stuff. Justin and his crew is amazing! I’m uploading new photos of the work being done. ————————- Original July 4th Review Wow first of all, the entire experience from end to end with the ServePro team at Southwest fast and fantastic. I had a major leak on July 4th. My initial call to them went to an answering service. I had another company come to take a look at they quoted $6k for the restoration project. The guy was nice but he kept suggesting I tear down areas that I thought were unnecessary. When Andreas from ServePro came, his assessment was much more reasonable. They have a digital moisture monitor that shows which areas are wet but they ALSO have an infrared monitor to confirm the other instruments findings which I thought was a huge plus. The way the documented every step and move with moisture readings and photos and produced a detailed document at the end was above expectations. The original estimate came in at $3k to $5k which was lower than the first company. When the work was expertly completed by Saul, Kenya and his team. I was surprised to receive an invoice for only $2.6k well under then estimate! This is true honesty! They could have charged the $3k anyway and I would have been happy because it was on the lower end of the estimate but they charged for actual work done. I couldn’t be more happy with the work they did. They did what was necessary, and be sure to not tear down unnecessary walls and flooring. The biggest difference was the infrared tool to validate the digital tool. That’s what the first guy did not come with which led him to just blanket say everything needed to be removed to be 100% sure. As for Saul and Kenya, they were the nicest people, patient, thorough, clean and hardworking. They really went above and beyond, better than I ever ever expected from a service company. I looked forward to seeing them every morning if that’s weird… :). If I owned a restoration company, these are the people I would try to poach. If that doesn’t give anyone confidence, I’m not sure what will. It was a great surprise to see females in the field doing this type of work. This company cares about equality. The gals at the office are friendly, prompt and awesome too! I can’t say I would want another water accident to work with these guys again but these guys were amazing to work with!! I can’t say more good things about this team! Thank you ServePro for coming through!

Adam Higgins

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the very beginning, the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. After my house flooded, I was overwhelmed and stressed, but the team made the entire restoration process so much easier. A huge thank you to Jose, Roby, and Justin. These guys were nothing short of phenomenal. Their professionalism, communication, and work ethic were outstanding from day one. They arrived early every morning with positive attitudes and were always ready to work. They kept me informed throughout every step of the process, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with everything that was happening. The amount of work they put into tearing apart the damaged areas of my home, removing all of the water damaged materials, and making sure everything was properly dried out was incredible. You could tell they genuinely cared about doing the job the right way instead of simply getting it done quickly. They treated my home with respect, cleaned up after themselves, and paid attention to every detail. What impressed me the most was the energy they brought every single day. No matter how difficult the job was, they stayed positive, worked hard, and were always friendly and respectful. It is rare to find a team that combines excellent workmanship with outstanding customer service, but Jose, Roby, and Justin did exactly that. I cannot thank this team enough for everything they did during such a stressful time. They turned an overwhelming situation into one where I knew my home was in good hands. If you ever find yourself dealing with flood or water damage, I highly recommend this team without hesitation. They truly care about their customers and take great pride in their work. Thank you again, Jose, Roby, and Justin, for your hard work, dedication, and professionalism. You all deserve recognition for the amazing job you did. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely recommend you to anyone who needs restoration or water damage work done.

This had never happened to me before. Professional experienced people to demolish the floor damage. Than you to Jose Mgr, Kenya,Saul, Lucio,, Christian,Marcela, and Marianna. Sorry if I did not get all your names.

Emily Larsen

Everyone from the first person, Justin to the last person, Maria were awesome and helpful answering any questions we had. They made the process go smoothly.

We had a leaky garbage disposal that caused water damage to our sink cabinets and mold damage, and Serv pro came out and removed the affected drywall area, and treated the area with anti microbial spray. The team of Cristian, Mariana, and Marcela were very professional, courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and best of all they were quick and efficient with the job and clean up process. It’s stressful going through a process like this overall, but in terms of the experience with Serv Pro, not so much, they made it streamlined and as easy as possible for us, and we appreciate it. Thank you Serv Pro team, and thank you to Kade Shank, the account manager, who was our original point of contact.

Isac McCary

More than impressed by the work Servpro of Southwest Las Vegas did in my home. Came home from a long day at work to a flood and everything seemed ruined. Servpro crew took less than a hour to get to my house to start to assure me that it wasn’t the end of the world. They covered all of my stuff and made sure they put up plastic to keep mess to a minimum. I would definitely call them out if you ever have an emergency!

How to clean up water damage in a home?

When a water emergency occurs in your home or business, it’s only natural to want to take action immediately. Below are some preliminary steps you can take before we arrive, but only attempt what you can do safely.

  1. Shut off the water source, if possible. If you’re not sure where the water is coming from, we’ll inspect and handle the situation as soon as we arrive. If you don’t know how to shut off the water, contact a plumber to help.
  2. Remove excess water by mopping, blotting, or wiping. This could include flooring and hard-surface furniture with standing water on it. Do not use your household vacuum to remove water, since it could cause damage to the vacuum or be unsafe.
  3. Protect carpet, rugs, drapes, and upholstered items from further damage. Place aluminum foil or parchment paper between furniture and wet carpet or rugs. Remove books, magazines, or other colored items from carpets and rugs. Hang draperies up with coated hangers to avoid contact with wet floors. Remove pillows or cushions from wet upholstered items.
  4. Avoid using electric or electronic items that have come into contact with water. This may include items such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, televisions, or appliances. If there is a possibility that someone else on the property may turn on an electric item that has come in contact with water, consider turning off the power to individual circuits within the power distribution panel of the property.
What is the typical cost for water damage restoration?

The cost of a water loss will vary greatly depending on the severity of the situation.

What is water damage restoration?

When water intrudes into a home or business, water damage restoration may be required. Water damage restoration is the professional process of removing unwanted water, drying and cleaning the structure and/or contents, and returning the property to its pre-loss condition. This is completed by professional technicians who are certified to follow industry standards using the proper methods and tools.

Is it safe to stay in a flooded home?

It may not be safe to stay in a flooded home or business. If you come into contact with or ingest flood water, it can make you sick if the water is contaminated. Standing water inside a structure that was inhabited also poses an electrocution risk, as appliances and electrical outlets can continue to be live and energized.

How do you restore water damage?

We’ll inspect your home or business and discuss with you the severity of the damage and our plan for helping return your property to pre-loss condition. We’ll then work to remove the water that shouldn’t be there using pumps and water-extracting tools. Materials that cannot be restored may be removed. Once the excess water is gone, we use dehumidifiers and other specialized drying equipment to help return the area to pre-loss condition. The drying process is then continually monitored. We clean and deodorize restorable contents and areas of the structure that need attention. This handy guide explains our water damage restoration process in detail.

How long does it take to dry out water damage?

Drying out a structure depends on the severity of the water damage that occurred and the type of structure, with an average situation taking 3–5 days. This can vary greatly though, depending on the magnitude of damage, amount of contents affected, any demolition that may be required, and the presence of any hazardous materials.

Returning a home or business to its pre-loss moisture levels is a closely monitored process, with our professionals making adjustments to equipment to help ensure the area is recovering as quickly and safely as possible.

Who to call for water damage?

A local SERVPRO is nearby and available now to respond to your water damage emergency right away. Our technicians are on call 24/7 with emergency services available immediately. Call 1-800-SERVPRO to reach a local SERVPRO, or find a SERVPRO location directly with our locator tool.

Who to call for water damage in ceiling?

It can be alarming to see a bubble growing in your ceiling and on the verge of bursting. SERVPRO can assist with this startling emergency right away, by calling 1-800-SERVPRO. You can also reach a local SERVPRO directly with our locator tool.

If possible, locate the source of the leak. If it’s being caused by an internal plumbing water source, turn off the water to that area, if you’re comfortable doing so and it can be done safely.

Is water damage dangerous?

Water damage can be a serious situation. Water flowing through your home or business can carry with it any contaminants that it has come into contact with. Electrical hazards are common when water damage has occurred, so do not enter the area until it’s deemed safe.

Flood waters or contaminated water can also be a danger to anyone who comes into contact with it. It can be difficult to pinpoint what the water contains. It could have chemicals, dirt, or bacteria within it. Additionally, depending on the severity of the water event, structural damage to the property could occur. Water damage may also make the area ripe for mold and mildew, which presents a danger to any occupants, as well.

Is my insurance going to cover this water damage to my home?

Many homeowner insurance policies do provide some level of coverage in a water damage situation, but you will need to contact your agent for details about your policy. The source of the water damage is important when dealing with insurance. Some flooding related to weather events requires special insurance available through the National Flood Insurance Program. We make insurance claims easier, with fewer headaches for you. We handle the details and coordinate any paperwork, so you can focus on moving forward.

Many personal items were damaged by water. Can SERVPRO help?

When water damage occurs, it’s not just the structure of your home that’s affected, but your personal belongings, too. Your family furniture, clothing, keepsakes, and other items are sometimes damaged during a flood or water damage emergency.

SERVPRO specializes in restoring these special items with our Packout & Contents Restoration services, as many cannot be replaced. We’ll assess your content to determine what items can be successfully restored. We can use several different methods to accomplish this:

  • Dry cleaning – Used for light residue or to pre-clean prior to wet cleaning.
  • Wet cleaning – Effective at removing moderate to heavy soiling.
  • Spray and wipe – For items that can’t withstand wet cleaning.
  • Foam cleaning – Used for upholstery fabrics that might shrink or bleed if wet cleaned.
  • Abrasive cleaning – Involves agitation of the surface being cleaned.
  • Immersion cleaning – The item is dipped into a cleaning product bath.

Additionally, we have document restoration services that may be able to save your valuable documents, including photographs.
