Lamar Cleanup and Restoration

Kind and hard workers (especially Megan and Courtney). They finished in 3 days what should have taken 3 months. I would recommend them to everyone.

Robert was on time and respectful. The company did a great job of cleanup and demo.

Megan was extremely helpful. She cleaned the ductwork and pointed out to us that it needed to be cleaned. She also took photographs of all of our damaged objects in the house for us to send to the insurance company. She was very helpful and made an extremely tough situation more manageable. John kilday

Let me start this review by saying that from the very beginning of our home issues, I have lived in absolute terror and fear of what the repairs for our situation would be. The stress of it all had completely consumed my mind and body. We had raccoons absolutely annihilate our basement. I had only just bought this house six months ago. I was definitely not prepared to undergo a major home issue. The raccoons destroyed the insulation, the HVAC work, obviously made massive mess down there and there’s some water. We discovered the problem in the basement after a leak in our second floor, appeared and came through down into the first one destroying our very old ceiling tiles (my house is 101 years old) To put it very lightly, we have one catastrophic mess on our hands here. I am a first time home owner, knowing nothing about how the process of something like this goes. After contacting my insurance, I learned that the majority of our damages are not covered because it was a raccoon that caused it. That’s when true fear of that we are looking at here set in deep for me. The Servpro technicians came very promptly to my home, was on time, both looked very professional and greeted me like they already knew me. Just the initial meeting of these guys helped to lower my anxiety a bit. I explained the situation to them, what happened and was very honest about how scared I am about everything from what the processes are, to how in the world am I going to afford this being completely unprepared for a sizable fix. Randy and Gus were so easy to talk to. They took so much care in explaining everything to me in a way that I can understand, it truly assured me that everything is going to be ok. They first assessed my entryway and then went to the basement for that assessment. I was surprised (in a good way!) at the time they spent down there. They didn’t just run down there, take a quick peek and then leave. They spent around 30 minutes actually assessing the problems we have. When they came back up I was on edge expecting to hear an astronomical amount of money that this is going to cost. Instead, the quote that I received was very reasonable. They even suggested ways that I would be able to afford this easier such as informing me of certain grants and programs that might available for me and my family. I had never thought about looking into something like that, and it may truly be my blessing in disguise. My anxieties over how all this will go has been substantially lessened by Randy and Gus. They listened to every single one of my concerns, answered every single one of my questions, and never once made me feel like I was asking anything stupid. They arrived very professionally, very clean cut looking and with the characteristics of a person who I would welcome into my home at any time. I believe that both of these men are a massive asset to Servpro and are A fantastic example as to how any workers entering your home should be and present themselves. Their communication and understanding are absolutely amazing. The repairs on my home have not began yet, but I know already that if this company employs people like these two men, then I have much less to worry about as far as the repair goes. I will update this review once all of the home renovation is complete. But currently I truly believe that this company may be my saving grace in what is a very difficult time.

We had two sets of helpers for our unfortunate flooding of a bathroom and basement. Mike and Tina came and stayed all day removing damaged items and materials, measuring moisture, cleaning, and setting up dehumidifiers and fans for us. Aiden and Courtney came the next day to finish up and meet with our insurance agent. We have been well cared for.
