After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration

We’ve had a very positive experience with SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea so far after discovering water and mold damage in our kitchen. He carefully checked the affected areas, explained what needed to be removed and dried, and walked us through the mitigation process clearly and patiently. Kevin Gomez has also been excellent to work with on the reconstruction side. He has been very responsive, gets back to us quickly, and has provided clear planning and a detailed estimate for the repair work. We really appreciate how efficiently he and his team have communicated and how willing they have been to answer our questions and work through the details with us. The mitigation crew also arrived as scheduled and handled the work carefully, including containment and preserving as much as possible.
