Mcadenville, NC is a small town located in Gaston County with a population of just under 700 people. It's best known for its annual Christmas lights display during the month of December, which has earned it the nickname “Christmas Town USA.” Mcadenville was home to several mills and factories from the early 1800s until the late 1960s when most of them closed down. In 1956, Mcadenville began decorating for the holidays using white and green lights donated by Pharr Yarns Co., and over time Mcadenville has become a must-see destination for holiday enthusiasts around the world.
